It is a conical-bore woodwind musical instrument. Saxophones are usually made of brass and played with a single-reed mouthpiece similar to that of the clarinet. Saxophone is invented by Belgian instrument maker Adolphe Sax in 1846.
There are many type of saxophone , which is Soprano-sax, Alto-sax, Tenor-sax, and Baritone-sax. I personally love Soprano-sax and Tenor-sax. Its in Bb key.
When I was in high school, I join my school band and learn to play this instrument. Its quite hard to learn it at first. But after I major the skills to play the instrument, its quite fun I love it so much. There are many famous saxophone player as known as saxophonist. Sometimes I listen to Kenny G's songs to improve my skills. I enjoy listening their music. It always give me the feeling of peace and romantic. It gives me the feeling that everything will be okay at last. In school, I try my best to improve myself and prepare for the coming concert. I love to be with my band mates because it always feels like I'm at the second home.
The thing I have learn from saxophone is that we just need to try our best to work hard on something. As long as we work hard to learn it, apply it, we can major it and success at the end. I used to be one person that have no confident, maybe consider as less confident. But after I learn saxophone, it gives me the feeling that I'm also can do well in something, I always feel confident when I play it. I'm happy as long as people feel comfortable and happy listening the song I play. It kind of make me feel more confident. Without Saxophone, maybe now I'm still someone who have no confidence and passionate in doing everything.
Saxophone is not just an instrument for me, its a hobby , partner of mine. I love it and appreciate I can learn to play well with it :)
